There are dozens of colleges and universities in the state that offer business education or data science programming but fewer that combine the two. Still, there are more than a dozen total that offer at least one graduate degree that can help a person advance their career in business analytics, so to help students narrow down their options, we’ve ranked the top five business analytics degrees offered by Ohio colleges and universities.
To create our ranking, we compiled data for every institution in the state that offers a graduate degree that is tied in some way to business analytics, and we weighted more heavily the schools that offer online degrees and are most affordable. Additionally, all five Ohio schools on our list are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Kent State University takes the No. 1 spot in our ranking with its online Master of Science in Business Analytics that not only is STEM-designated, which is crucial for many international students, but is a rigorous program that can be completed in one year for motivated, full-time students. Kent State’s program focuses heavily on emerging technologies like machine learning. In addition to the business analytics master’s, Kent State’s College of Business Administration also offers a Master of Business Administration with a business analytics concentration that also can be earned, like the Master of Science in Business Analytics, entirely online.
